What Is Safeguarding?
Safeguarding means protecting people’s health, wellbeing, and human rights so they can live safely and independently.
As a supported housing provider, we recognise that some residents may be vulnerable due to personal circumstances, mental or physical health needs, homelessness, trauma, or social isolation.

We believe everyone has the right to live in a safe environment free from abuse, neglect, exploitation, discrimination, or harm. Safeguarding is a key part of our supported housing services, and we take all concerns seriously.
Types of Concerns
Safeguarding concerns may
- Physical abuse
- Emotional or psychological abuse
- Financial exploitation
- Neglect
- Discrimination or harassment
- Domestic abuse
- Sexual abuse
- Self-neglect
- Criminal or coercive exploitation
All concerns are treated seriously and investigated appropriately.
Reporting a Concerns
If you are worried about your own safety or someone else’s wellbeing, please report it as soon as possible.
Concerns can be raised with:
- Speak with Support staff
- Speak with Housing officers
- Contact with Management
- Emergency services where immediate danger exists
All safeguarding concerns are treated seriously, sensitively, and confidentially.
